Mom-in-real-life: From one to two #ohmyyog #justbeyou

Going from one to two is a big change.  Just when you think you’ve mastered the toddler phase, and you’ve regained some of your pre-kids “normalcy” (aka – the ability to leave the house. . .alone. . for more than 30 minutes at a time). . . a new baby comes along and flips your world around again.

Life with two kids leaves very little time for me. Oh, and then throw growing a new business, house renovations, and a few pets in the mix.  Yep, I haven’t had my hair cut in a year.

Yes, a whole year.  It’s total chaos 90% of the time, but I LOVE it and wouldn’t have it any other way.

The internet is plastered with photos of stylish moms with their hair and makeup perfectly done, wearing skinny jeans, boots with heels, and perfectly coordinated scarves and jewelry.  Kudos to them if they can have such incredible wardrobes and time to do themselves up all fancy on a daily basis.  Here is my PSA for all new moms and moms-to-be. . . most new moms will tell you any day when they can sneak in a shower is a total win.

Yep, its true.  Just ask.

So here goes nothing –  this is what I look like most days:

When I heard that prAna was teaming up with the Stonyfield to get the word out about their line of organic clothing I knew I had to be involved!  I’ve loved prAna clothes for many years now; I first heard of them back in the day when I used to rock climb, as they make fantastic activewear.

Me, a rock climber?  I know it seems hard to believe, so here is photographic evidence.

Climbing_Photo_MontageSince moving away from Ann Arbor, which had the most AMAZING indoor rock climbing gym, I haven’t climbed more than a few times.  Of course, being pregnant twice and having two kids certainly doesn’t leave much time for climbing either.

However, I’m psyched to say that my rock climbing skills still come into use on a regular basis.  Again, here is some photographic evidence:

For the last few days I’ve been rocking the Graceful Wrap in Plum from prAna’s organic clothing line and I have to say I absolutely LOVE it!  It’s perfect for throwing over a nursing tank for around the house, it pairs perfectly with yoga pants for a casual look, and can even be dressed up with jeans and cute flats!  Plus, it’s the perfect weight for this time of the year.

Now, an amazing surprise for you – prAna is graciously offering one of you (our amazing HB create readers!) any item of your choice from their organic line of a value up to $99!

Additionally, take 15% off any item in their store with code JBYF15HB at checkout!

I knew of prAna for their activewear, but I had no idea that they also sold everyday clothing as well. Their organic line includes all different clothing items, from sweaters to jeans, and is available for both women and men. I chose the Graceful Wrap in Plum – it’s also available in winter, black, and cast blue (below).

On my shopping list is this dress, which looks super comfy paired with tights or leggings for the fall/winter as well as some new activewear for yoga (this top and these pants – so cute!).

Oh, and that Apple Cinnamon OhMyYog that I intended for a snack for myself. . . my toddler totally ate it.  I told her she wouldn’t like it because she usually refuses yogurt with fruit, but alas she kept requesting “more apples, more apples” as we were “sharing” it.  Hmm.  Well, now I know I need to get more than one.

This is a sponsored post, however all opinions are 100% our own.  I did receive Stonyfield fruit snacks to review as part of the Stonyfield Ambassador program.  We only ever work with companies we support and think you, our readers, will enjoy.
